Flexible Respite
In-home or community-based support service to enable respite for carers.
Our Flexible Respite service provides clients with in-home or community-based support, to enable respite for their carer. In-home respite offers an opportunity for clients to remain in their home, among familiar surroundings, whilst their carers go out.
There is also the option of community-based respite. Clients can participate in local events, activities, or attractions; providing the chance to socialise and partake in community life.

We service Shepparton, Yarrawonga, Wangaratta, Wodonga and the surrounding areas.
Are you eligible for Flexible Respite?
Depending on your location and government support packages, you may be eligible for subsidised respite services. These include the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) via My Aged Care referral to clients aged 65+ and Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal peoples aged 50+.
In addition, Community Accessability provides a self-funded option for older people who are not eligible for CHSP.
