Why choose Community Accessability Transport services?

Our team of dedicated and friendly volunteer drivers provide a door-to-door service and will make sure you feel safe and secure during your trip. With fully accessible vehicles, we can cater to your mobility needs and ensure your comfort.

Are you eligible for Transport services?

We assist older people who are transport disadvantaged due to:

  • location
  • lack of suitable public transport
  • unable to drive due to illness or injury
  • having no car or license
  • financial hardships

Depending on your location and government support packages, you may be eligible for subsidised transport services. These include the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) through My Aged Care referral to clients aged 65+ and Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal peoples aged 50+.

In addition, Community Accessability provides a low-cost ‘self-funded’ option for older people with financial challenges, limiting their access to transport.

How you can book transport

To access Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) transport services, you must have a My Aged Care referral at the time of booking. If you’re ready to book transport now, you can do so through our online booking portal.

If you’d like more information, or to register for our transport service, you can contact us via phone on 1300 704 530 or email us at intake@communityaccessability.org.au.
